Board of Trustees

The Board of Trustees is Saklan's governing body. The Board is responsible for establishing the school’s mission and policies, appointing and evaluating the Head of School, and ensuring the long-term health and sustainability of the school. Trustees focus on strategic initiatives that support the school’s fiduciary health, including finance and investments. The Saklan Board of Trustees is composed of individuals who are deeply committed to the success of the school.

The Board functions through several standing committees that meet regularly, independent of full Board meetings, to research important school matters and develop informed recommendations for consideration.

Saklan's Board is not involved in the school's day-to-day operations, including personnel decisions, admissions, and tuition assistance decisions.
