Emily joined Saklan in 2020 and has over 20 years of experience in the education field. She holds a B.A. and M.Ed. from UC San Diego, as well as an M.B.A. from The University of Arizona. Emily began her career as a teacher, teaching 1st and 2nd grades before moving into school leadership and advancement roles.
Emily is passionate about building meaningful relationships with families and sharing the many ways Saklan’s Project Based Learning program inspires students to think creatively, act compassionately, and live courageously. She is grateful to be part of the Saklan community and enjoys helping families discover all that makes Saklan such a special place. Outside of school, Emily enjoys practicing yoga, reading, and traveling.
