Tausha joined Saklan in 2026, first serving as a substitute and support teacher before becoming our first grade teacher. Since joining the community, she has quickly become known for the care, skill, and steady presence she brings to both her students and colleagues.
Tausha brings more than 20 years of experience in education. Throughout her career, she has served as a lower elementary classroom teacher as well as a school leader, supporting teachers, developing curriculum, and coordinating educational programs and professional learning. Her wealth of experience, collaborative spirit, and commitment to nurturing young learners make her a wonderful addition to the Saklan community.
Outside of the classroom, Tausha enjoys spending time with her husband, two children, and their cat. She loves traveling, watching movies, trying new restaurants, and playing a friendly game of dominoes with family and friends.
