Kim holds a B.A. in Communication Studies from the University of California, Santa Barbara. She later earned her Multiple Subject Teaching Credential with BCLAD from San Francisco State University, along with a Single Subject Spanish Teaching Credential.
Kim joined Saklan as a substitute teacher in the fall of 2019 and has since supported nearly every grade level on campus. Her roles have included serving as a kindergarten, first‑grade, third‑grade, and fourth‑grade aide, as well as teaching in the Early Childhood Education program. Her deep familiarity with the Saklan community and her enthusiasm for building strong connections make her especially excited to begin the 2026 school year as Saklan’s Advancement Coordinator.
Outside of school, Kim enjoys hiking, playing tennis, skiing, and traveling. She has three adult children who come and go from the nest, and she treasures time spent with her husband and her “big kiddos.”
