Cristen is originally from the New England coast and is very happy to now call the East Bay her home. Her background is in non-profit and educational program management. In every aspect of her previous positions, she has done fundraising and development. Reflecting back on her upbringing she will tell you she grew up in a culture of giving and has always been involved since a very young age in fundraising and volunteerism. Cristen was a competitive skier, sailor, and now plays soccer on an adult team and enjoys reading whenever she is not running around to her son’s numerous sporting events and activities. She lives with her husband, James, and son, Lincoln Charles, in Walnut Creek. They have a golden retriever named Penny.
