I would like to take this opportunity to thank Kellie Beaubelle and Jayne Skwarecki for planning and organizing a spectacular Teacher Appreciation Week! They really put a lot of extra time and effort into making the week special for our wonderful teachers and staff. We hope you have already marked your calendars for our annual Saklan Valley Carnival coming up on Saturday, May 17th! This year’s theme is Life in the Fast Lane! Come enjoy lunch, play games, win a cake at the cake walk, and try to dunk Mr. Martin in the dunk tank! This is definitely an event you do not want to miss! We are looking for parent volunteers to help run some of the games and booths, and also parents to donate cakes for the cake walk. Please see the sign-up sheets on the front of the school.
I would also like to invite you to join us for our final Parent Association meeting of the year on Wednesday, May 14th. The meeting will be held at the church next-door right after drop off. Please come by to hear important school announcements and enjoy some delicious refreshments. We will also be voting in the new slate of Parent Association Board members at the meeting.
