Lafayette Art and Wine Festival
Stop by and say hello Saturday or Sunday at the annual Lafayette Art and Wine Festival. We will have a booth in the children’s area back behind Starbucks and AG Ferrari and lots of fun activities for kids, including lanyard weaving and necklace beading. Encourage your friends and neighbors too to swing by the booth and learn more about Saklan. See you this weekend at the festival!
Extended Day News
Our first enrichment class is beginning today! Kid’s Kuisine is offered on Fridays in the Preschool room from 2:15-3:15 and 3:30-4:30. Gymnastics, Chessmasters, and Basketball classes are starting next week. Therefore, the registration deadline is this Monday, September 19, 2005. Next, Spanish class begins on Monday, September 26th and we will accept registration forms until that day. Finally, Science Adventure workshops begin on Tuesday, October 4th and registration forms need to be turned in by Monday, September 26th. For an enrichment class roster and location, please see the bulletin board in the Extended Day hallway.
Saklan is still accepting Extended day registration forms for after school care. We strongly encourage that you purchase a monthly payment plan, a drop-in block of time, and/or enrichment time. It helps us plan our afternoons accordingly, as well as making our billing system more efficient and accurate. Please submit forms to the main office. Thank you!
