K-8 Concert
Family Ticket Reservation
There are 84 K-8 families, and we are reserving two tickets for each K-8 family. If you will not need both of these tickets, please let us know by submitting that information below. There is still a pool of some 50-60 tickets remaining, which we will award to families who would like 1-3 additional tickets for close family members only.
To request these 1-3 additional tickets for close family members other than grandparents, please include it in the form below and we will do our best to accommodate. (And yes, we will explore venue alternatives for next year to try to identify theaters with more seating!)

Concert Costuming
K-8 Families: Mark your calendars for the 31st. All K-8 students will perform in songs from around the world.
Families will also need to prepare for their children to wear simple costumes to the event we are asking boys and girls to wear white shirts: Clean and neat T-shirts for students in grades K-2, and button down Oxford style white shirts or blouses for grades 3-8. Boys should wear black pants; girls should wear black/dark long skirts, calf or ankle length (if strongly preferred, girls may wear pants, but we are requesting skirts). More information on costumes to follow.
Family Fun Night
Come One, Come All to our Annual Parent Association Family Fun Night. This event is entirely open to all, and is especially intended for the pleasure of our families with younger children. Pizza, salad, dessert, music dancing and a terrific Magic Show with a highly regarded Magicianall this for your family on what otherwise would be a dark and cold Friday night in January. Join the families of your child’s classmates for this very fun eventpriced at only $20 for the whole family! This is not a fundraiser, but a FUNraiser, and we very much welcome everyone, especially newer families, to come on down for this fabulous night. Our Annual Auction production is in full swing. We have an expanded theme and all new graphics thanks to parent Bill Clark, and an exciting list of silent and live auction items to really make everyone get into the bidding action! Take a look:

SUNS SWEATSHIRTS
In support of our sports teams and to raise money for this spring’s CARNIVAL the student council will be taking orders for SUNS sweatshirts. These great looking sweatshirts are can be ordered in adult and child sizes for $27 and will be available the second or third week of February. The Student Council will be taking orders before and after school for the next two weeks. Please stop by and support our school.
Note: These sweatshirts ARE Mr. Martin approved as conforming to the school uniform!

Extended Day News
We have an important date approaching that will affect our Saklan families. Wednesday, January 25th is a noon dismissal for staff professional development. Extended Day will be open from 12:00 until 6 p.m. You can rest assured that our staff will have an afternoon planned that will be fun, creative, and engaging. It is very important to us that the children have a good time while they are here. If you are interested in keeping your child here, please sign up by the time clock located in the Extended Day foyer. Please indicate approximately what time you will be picking your child up. These days can be extremely full, so please make sure and take the time to reserve your space.
