Students perform musically regularly at our Friday all-school assembly, our Graduation ceremony, and most especially at our Annual Winter Concert.

Costume Information

Everyone- Wear shoes comfortable to move around in. They don't have to be a particular color or style, but they shouldn't be dirty old sneakers.

Kindergarten- dress up in "grown up" clothes (ex. Dad's tie, Mom's or Grandma's hat...In their song, they are like spectators at a circus.)

First Grade - gray or pink short or long sleeved top and pants, solid colors without logos preferred, sweats OK (They will be elephants and will put on elephant hats that I will keep until the concert.)

Second Grade - long sleeve shirt and pants, any colors or patterns OK(They will be putting on the decorated pillow case shirts we made and that I will keep for them until the concert.)

Third Grade - yellow, beige, or brown short or long sleeved top and pants, solid colors without logos preferred, sweats OK (They will be lions and will put on lion masks that I will keep for them until the concert.)

Fourth Grade - black long sleeved shirt and pants, dress up or athletic, either is fine (They will be using purple scarves, and be enhancing pieces with movement and accompaniment parts.)

Fifth Grade- is a special case because they are the solo or group characters for the circus musical that grades 2-5 are doing. Students also wrote the clothes we discussed for their different parts on the left inside pocket of the yellow music folder that they should bring home with them over break. Each student should be as follows:

Brandon- is a clown- and will wear a decorated clown pillowcase and red squeaky nose I will provide at the concert, but should come in white or light colored pants and white or light colored long sleeve top

Graham- is a lion tamer- (says he could wear his sister's riding outfit) otherwise a white button up dress shirt and black pants would be fine.

Gabriella, Isabelle, Griffin, Daphne, Hunter- are ringmasters- an over-sized button up dress shirt (a solid, light color)- one of Dad's? a scarf or belt (any color/s)- pants/long skirt (darker, solid color)
They will also be using a special hat that I will provide.

Haley, Kela, Phillip, Kevin- are acrobats- long sleeve exercise shirt and pants solid, bright colors- bright colored scarve/s

Nick- is a conductor- a dark colored 3-piece suit

Sixth Grade - short or long sleeve black shirt, black pants, face paint, any color or style, to be done at home before the concert (yes face paint, this is what they voted on)

Seventh Grade - short or long sleeve black shirt, black pants, something pink (ex. scarf, corsage, necklace, button), sunglasses (again yes something pink and sunglasses, this is what they voted on)

Eighth Grade - will dress in a 60's and 70's theme (no wigs, no platform shoes, no super mini-skirts)
